Food is good and the staff are nice. Price is very cheap. We only spent $50 for 2 adults and one kid, we felt very full and still some food left. A nice place to try!
Ambience was good, neat and calm. Butter Naan and Shahi Paneer was tasty, but Dum-Biryani was terrible, it's not Dum-Biryani actually, could be Chicken Pulav recipe from North India.
Absolutely pathetic food. Tried a couple of dishes with some friends. Most people didn't eat anything after taking the first bite. Most dishes are inauthentic and cooked with no care. The chowmein was a disgrace to the dish. The curry's were extremely bland and pitiful. The breads were burnt. Extremely overpriced for the quality they serve as well.
I really enjoy shopping there as the smells of spices remind me of been in Middle East bazaar. The food that we often enjoy there is also delicious. Just keep in mind it’s Hindu restaurant, so no beef Vindaloo there. I’m sure one can find what their taste buds need in there. They could be a little more generous with the meat amount.
I’d give the food 3.5 stars, everything we had was relatively ok, I’ve had much better Indian meals but nothing stood out as being horrible… the service on the other hand!!! Holy smokes, talk about garbage!! We waited almost an hour for just a few takeaway curries and naan’s, and the girl on the counter just kept saying “5 more minutes” each time we checked in as to how much longer it would be, then they missed things in our order. Very awful experience. Like an idiot I went back a second time a few months later and got the exact same experience!!
I love the food in Barath Woden and with that expectation I went to their new Bint restaurant in Belconnen, I loved the interiors and it looked really nice. But they do not maintain it well. The seats we were offered was dirty and even after the staff saw me cleaning it did not have the courtesy to clean it for me. They toilets were dirty as well, even with this COVID precautions. we ordered two chats, biriyani and batura and a drink. It did not look like a busy night, Still they were very slow in service entrees and main courses all came at the same time and and they did not give the drink I ordered I went to both the staffs and both did not even stop to listen to me. The tikka chat the samosas were not properly cooked inside so could not finish it.and the pani puris were not tasty, the biriyani was pale . I loved the beer it was really tasty.
The restaurant ambience was bright n spacious. There was just one person serving during a weekend lunch hour . It took 40 mins for our food to come and came almost cold and taste was not that great. Was super excited seeing the menu but left the place disappointed. Not sure about giving another try.
Guys I ordered one paneer thali they gave me one roti and other half roti maybe eaten by someone or I don’t know guys if you charge me full price at least give me full item otherwise give me only one so it won’t feel like someone already eaten my food. I literally don’t want to eat this thing even if you want give less that’s fine but don’t do like this. I am not against you guys I always order food just take care of this next time please
We have been buying groceries in this shop since more than 3 years but never going back and tell our friends too. We bought 1 kg of mixed rasgulla and gulabjamun both priced $25/kg but they charged us $30/kg. The shop lady said it's mixed price which is unfair.
Grocery All good except very unorganised. No prices displayed. Hard to find stuffs. Not good use of space. Restaurant is slow service. Waited nearly 10 minutes for added Naan in middle of eating. Food is okay with price. Costumer service just okay. Have been couple times. Same experience.
