Friendly and welcoming front desk and bar staff. We had a comfortable stay. Clean and we were happy with this stay. Only issue was the lack of parking later on at night. We had family also stay at the same time and they had received half hearted room service. I however never had our room serviced but was left with clean towels outside our door every afternoon when we got back. Definitely value for money.
We have stayed here on two separate occasions, thank you Jose for you wonderful service what a lovely man you are. The breakfasts and tonight's room service dinner was so yummy and for such a good price, best we have eaten in Canberra this visit. Thank you again for wonderful and professional service. It's our place to stay when we visit family in Canberra. Would recommend it who want comfortable beds and lovely rooms plus meals and also a beautiful pool
Overall the accommodation was okay, 3.5/5. The bed was fine, air conditioning worked well and the staff were very friendly and kind however my only issues were that the TV only had 4 channels that worked, a lot of channels would just black screen and you could only hear sound. My laptop wouldn’t connect to their wifi due to it not being secure was a work laptop, phone connected fine the toilet is super close to the sink and if I were any taller I’d have to turn on an angle to use the toilet properly which is a bit tricky. Ordered the sirloin and it was a little bland and dry could be a personal thing I usually season my steak with salt, pepper and garlic didn’t taste like it had been cooked with anything at all however the gravy was really good! Chips and veggies were good too, overall the accommodation is just okay. If you’re looking for a place to stay overnight this is a good option but I wouldn’t recommend here if you are looking to spend a lot of time at a hotel unless it’s hot and you want to kill time with a swim as the pool area seemed pretty decent was raining when I stayed, didn’t get to stay, just a place for dinner and sleep while you explore the activities of Canberra :
On our first night here, our car along with two others were broken into. We were told by the company who repaired our window glass that it happens every single week at this hotel. When we asked the staff why they don't hire security, they responded that the break-ins do not affect their business. So basically, they don't care that their guests are massively out of pocket to repair damage to their car. They'll only care once they lose business. So do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. Particularly if you don't want to be inconvenienced by having to clean up shattered glass on your car seats, and by having fo find a glass repair company to attend to your car so you can get the heck out of that hotel. Btw... they had more break ins just two days later. As for non-crime related feedback... the rooms were fine but dated. Our TV did not work. The solution offered was to watch TV in another vacant room, which we didn't do as moving between rooms with a toddler is not very convenient. There was not a lot within walking distance, which made life with a toddler challenging when our car had to be repaired from the break-in. Staff were friendly but I suspect their actions were limited by careless management.
The room smelled revolting - a cross between old Thai food and sewerage. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone's everything.. we were unfortunate to have picked a weekend where a dozen or so bikers were in town and began revving their bikes from about 6am so add petrol fumes to the stench!!! The room was very basic and over priced. Our supply of coffee and sugar wasn't replenished on the second day and the room not cleaned well. For the price you.pay they should restock basics like sugar and offer foxtel or netflix or alike. The bed was awful - very uncomfortable, outdated and torn in places. A bit of a ripoff overall.. I'd be annoyed at paying half the price!! Definitely not a 4 star hotel.. barely deserves 1 star!!!
Comfortable, good if you want to be on the South side of the city. Only 15 minutes to town. Patchy servicing of rooms. Good parking. Didn't use the restaurant this time but reportedly OK.Rooms: 4/5
Not my first time staying here, which does say a lot. My colleague and I dined at the restaurant as we did last time here and nothing has changed, thankfully. The meal was excellent as was the wine, and the service. The rooms are also good, and worth the amount.Rooms: 4/5
We stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip so we knew going into it that it wouldn’t be the most luxurious stay however we also expected a lot more from a 4 star hotel. The rooms are a little bit small and quite dated, the bathroom was very dated with mould around the shower and they only supply single sheet toilet paper for some reason instead of a roll. The furniture was torn in a few places and upholstered items were stained. The hallways were kind of creepy as the lights are off when people aren’t walking through them. Plus anyone can walk into the hotel without a keycard from both the front, back and side of the building. Every single day we went back to our room our keycards stopped working. This didn’t just happen to us. Multiple other guests had the same issue over their stay too. There are signs all around the hotel stating that you should not leave any valuable items in your car and we eventually discovered why. We went downstairs to find the car next to ours was broken into so we went to inform the reception staff who nonchalantly said “yes there were three others”. This is a major problem. You can see in other reviews that this has been happening for a very long time at this hotel but they have not taken any steps to fixing the situation by adding fencing or security of any sort to the carpark. Please think twice before staying here!!

I will start by saying the service is welcoming, informative and friendly. The room was average, but everything you need from a standard room. Bed was comfortable, towels are changed daily and are soft. Unfortunately there was a small amount of mould build up above the shower, due to poor ventilation in bathroom. The shower pressure is great though. My main concern for future guests, and the biggest let down of this motel is the safety of their vehicles. During the 2nd night of my stay, I saw outside the room window someone break into one of the cars in the parking lot. This happens frequently as there are warnings all over the motel to not leave valuables in vehicles due to increase number of break ins. There is no fencing around the property so your vehicle is not secure! This is a rough area with a high crime rate, book at your own risk. I won't be booking again
