What a wonderful venue. Large bistro, sports bar, pokies, and all new and clean. A great place to take the whole family for a meal and support the RSL. Wednesday night is Parma night, and is only $25 with schooner or $22.50 for members.
I know some reviews for Bentleigh RSL haven’t been the best, but our experience was really positive. The service we received was great, staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome.nnThe meals were generous and well priced, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.
Waited 40 minutes, $29 for small portion of calamari in the photo. Highway robbery by this establishment.do not go here.
We attended the RSL tonight and once again we had cold meals, and 3 of the 4 meals were wrong all 3 went back to swap out special requests! Then we just transferred salad etc as they still got it wrong !nI am a chef of 40 years and find it incredible that when you order at 5.45 the kitchen can not get meals Hot and right !nWe did send Veges and chips back again and got hot ones BUT glasses where not collected and when the staff where told several times of the substandard meals they didn’t care !
Bentleigh RSL seems to be surviving off pokies profits. The main dining area was only 1/3 full on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was dull. Meals are overpriced relative to the eating experience, which is sub-par. Steak is pricey if you consider what you get- see photo. For a venue that used to be humming, there's so much wasted potential!
