Easy to get into and out of. Plenty of parking out front and back. On direct bus route. Open until late. Small IGA but has most items people need in a weekly shop. Very friendly staff. Some good deals to be found at times. They have a very nice deli pay at deli for deli items with hot foods and plenty of cold dinner type meals. Very friendly and helpful checkout operators. The only downside is that it is located in an area that is heavy in public housing and there are often arguments going on out the front by shady characters. Choose your time to go shopping. I would definitely recommend this store.
Slightly pricier than Woolworths but still very good grocery store. Open till late too. Use main entrance after 7.30pm
The customer service is shocking. I visit this store a few times a week. When I first started going there the staff were very friendly, patient and always willing to help. Not anymore. Every time I have gone shopping I’ve left wondering why I bother going there because of the way the stuff treat me. It’s unbelievable!
New owners have turned it into a great one stop shop. Blue Swimmer crabs from Tunisia? Check. Bag of firewood? Check. Dog roll? Check. Fennel? Check. Italian artisan bread? Check. I better stop...
The manager of this store is beyond pathetic. Treats staff horribly. Has staff walking around with covid and no mask, and keeps it a secret from all the other staff. Berit needs to reasses how she deals with people and situations. A lot of safety and hygiene issues which are not addressed or completely ignored. How can someone with such neglect, still be a manager?
The ladies in the deli section are simply amazing. I usually go to iga for the roast lunches that they provide. Always so so delicious and big portion size!. Thankyou ladies at the deli for serving the community quality foods. You all deserve a pay rise
DISGUSTING! THIS IS NOT HOW THE LOCALS LIKE IT!..im pretty sure us locals don't like this... Rnt we paying premium prices for our meat now?? So how can this be allowed to happen.. Theres clearly something wrong here.. Looks like old and new mixed together.. How disgusting.. prices are ridiculously high the last thing the consumer needs is to have to worry about the quality.. Oh yeah.. And Nectarines at $25 a kg?? Come one.. Whos the w**k*r that came up with that? What an absolute joke!
What a great place to shop, such friendly staff
The shop has been cleaned up since new management took over this year. However stock is now very much precut, prepacked meat and fruit and vegetables and lots of gourmet lines which isn't really fitting for the area the shop is located. The regular cheap bread and milk isn't cheap anymore. I used to do a full shop at a reasonable price but not now. It's quite expensive but does have the brand selection you can't get at Coles or Woolies any more.
Surprisingly large store based on its appearance from the outside. Large frozen section, and good range of our prepared items at the deli counter
