We booked several rooms including two family rooms for a three day stay. Our host Simon and his wife were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them, including them replacing a tv with a brand new one in one of the rooms. The rooms were all well equipped, clean and comfortable. All the amenities that one would need were catered for in room. The staff who cleaned the rooms were also amazing. Would have no hesitation in recommending Begonia City to travellers.

Lovely surprise for motel advertised and priced as budget, big clean, very comfortable room, two comfy chairs, two chairs with table. Much more than other expensive stays we've had this trip. Definitely 5 stars.Rooms: 5/5

Very clean room, quite spacious.  The cooked breakfasts are so good.  Noteworthy details: The only thing that I think needs attention is the pool area.  There is no shade whatsoever. On 2 hot days I was there,  I would have loved to go in the pool, but as there is no shade and very basic minimal outdoor furniture,  the area isn&#39;t inviting at all. The pool was clean, but in my eyes the area needs a renovation,  with shade, inviting furniture, lush plants.

Lovely place! No complaints really. Friendly staff and very clean. The bed was a little hard but it's not *my* bed so of course I'm not going to love it. Nice big TV in the room, fridge, all soaps and shampoos, etc. Reasonable price, too. Will go back.

Our suite was clean and tidy, with a good layout for a family 3 single beds in one room for the kids, a big bed in another room for the parents. Separate TVs in kids' room and main area, including an Android smart TV we could sign in to our apps or cast to from our phones.  We put in a breakfast order the night before, at around 8:30, and it arrived on-time the next morning and exactly as we ordered.  It's obvious that the staff takes a lot of pride in keeping the whole place neat and tidy, and keeping their guests happy.

Very handy place to stay on our way to Melbourne.  A bowling club with a bistro was just across the road so we didn't have to drive for miles to find an evening meal.  The checkin was easy and the room was clean and spacious.  Would stay here again.
