The actual concept of what these dump shops do, is great. But, comparing this one to others I have been to was disappointing. The pricing was high. Even on things that couldn't be justified. Large Moccona coffee jars priced at either $3 or $4 each. There was a large range of items inside. Outside was rather dismal if I'm honest. There was a few quirky items & a few things I would've considered buying but I couldn't justify the price of items as they were.
Always finding "treasures" - especially if you need items for the garden or picture frames. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, it's handy when you have items that you want to donate.
Open Thursdays, Satdees, have to wear enclosed shoes, so no thongz unfortunately. Like an option, but cheaper, no electrical stuff, but plenty of random things.
3 times I have tried to dump stuff there, but the staff are so resistant to work, that they reject my loads - this time it was household goods - all types of stuff. That was the last time, I try. Will go to Lifeline or Endeavour, at least they have a go.
This is an interesting place with a great range of pre-loved items for sale that were no longer needed by the original owners.
A little over priced and some of the things I really want too pay never get too the shed for use too have a chance too buy I feel this is not real fair at all I see good things I’d like to buy and fixes up up but know it’s too good for the consumer I’m sure someone all ready has a contact with them or the workers get things for nothing and make money on things we do get the leftovers that’s just pot luck if you find what you really would like to buy sorry it is the way it workers iv been to a lot of recycling places and are a lot bigger and fairer towards helping the consumer over all it’s ok I gave it three stars
Friendly, helpful staff in a clean and well organised facility. The entrance can easily be missed, it is easy not to notice the garden hedged entrance as it is on a road bend that requires good care and attention to the traffic flows. The road is quite busy at times. There is a second hand shop onsite with good parking.
Great 2nd hand market place with very realistic prices and friendly staff.
The prices: tell 'em they're dreamin!
Outrageously overpriced, just like the rip off tip fees. Go to the op shops instead and give your money to those who need it. In regard to tip fees, took green waste, charged $17.00. Bloke suggested that we fill the ute more for the next trip, absolutely implying the fee would be the same. Went back with more green waste and was charged $23.00. Liars and thieves. Thanks be that my own council tip is free and the freely obtained junk for sale in their tip shop is actually reasonably priced. Will never return here unless the SCRC gets real.
