Pharmacists have the right to dispense and to not dispense what they want, but no pharmacist has the right to humiliate and belittle a customer, when the latter is endeavouring to acquire symptom relief for their condition! Furthermore, the customer’s experience of what is going on should be honoured as truth, rather than being subjected to doubt and judgement.
How far do you have to travel to have your prescription filled? The answer, in my case as I was foolish enough to use this pharmacy, was 116 kilometres. Why? Because they only filled half my script and so I had to return. It's 116 kilometres from my home to Beerwah and back.
Told to wait 40 min for prescription came back after an hour to be told to wait another 40 min. I was spoken to rudly by a pharmacist behind a wall. I told her she was being rude and she refused to show herself. The staff seemed very confused on what they were doing and kept losing other peoples prescriptions. It would of been quicker to drive to Brisbane. I will never go to this pharmacy again. Very very rude staff.
I have only recently started attending this pharmacy after relocating but I’ve always had very friendly staff who appear to work very efficiently. There is a good variety of products in store and the prices were competitive. The wait time for a script was certainly reasonable. There is one lady, I think her name is Angela? She’s always very bubbly and happy, such a pleasure to see in customer service.
Being first in to hand over a script, I found the wait time of more than 10 minutes a bit much. Script was ready and no-one bothered to call my name. regular pharmacy pumps out scripts much faster. Would have liked to have had a look through the store as there appeared to be some items worth looking at, however the wait time sent my anxiety into overtime.
20min wait minimum some time 40min for a scipt even when its not busy.. if you don't have a mask, be ready to be looked at like you have a growth on your face by every staff member and questioned over and over why you need this script or a mask exemption, when it's my Doctor call... I've been sick for 15yrs and i don't need this sort of stress lucky there are 2 chemists in beerwah they are much more welcoming i only enter here when i have no other option...
I found all staff are very friendly and helpful all the time
Three visits and each time have had to wait over 45mins for scripts, not because of slowness, but because one staff member always says my scripts not ready, when, in fact, they have been. It appears easier to send people away rather than assist them. Will never set foot in store again!
Really not happy with the service. Never had a problem until now. I sent my mother to get some phenergen for my child as he was not well and had to stay home with him. After asking my mother heaps of questions about my son and 30mins waiting for a label to be put on an over the counter drug we finally received it. The pharmacist knew she was waiting. They were not busy and seemed like they just didn't care. My son has had this otc drug before so I'm not sure what was up with the pharmacist being rude.
for people who can't where masks i felt like a leper not welcoming at all and i had to almost beg to get a script filled as i couldn't enter without a mask as per the signs put the front... go to PharmaSave instead much more welcoming and helpful
