Needed a hair cut while visiting Sydney and heard that Bedrock was a bit of an institution. Sarah was great, happy to spend time chatting about different options and then gave me a hair cut that I was really pleased with. Would definitely recommend! Very reasonably priced too, for Sydney.
I asked for an estimate for my cut, gloss colour and blow dry in person when I booked but didn't mention it when I was paying for my service and instead my fantastic stylist asked not-very-discretely how much to charge and I got the 'glance up and down' treatment before being charged $50 more than my estimate. I didn't say anything and maybe I should have, but I hope this encourages you to set some rates, guys. This is an awful way to end an experience at your salon so is getting a ghd straighten vs a blow dry, but anyway, so let's take the surprise out of it!
Wonderful salon!!!! Very Friendly staff, great vibe. My experience at bedrock hair was outstanding, I highly recommend this salon. Not only were the staff and owners friendly and attentive but they were also extremely professional. No complaints !!!!! Great haircut!!!
A seat with Sarah is an absolute MUST! She has made my transition to blonde the most seamless experience. I’m constantly receiving complements on my balayage, hand-painted by Sarah. The salon has a fantastic vibe and impeccable level of customer service
I was there today and so happy with my shampoo and blow dry. The shampoo and massage went so long and was great. Staff were incredibly kind and friendly and the shop and products were really nice. Thank you, I’m so glad to have been in!
Went to Newtown as I needed a wash/cut/blow dry urgently! I told the hairdresser I needed a wash, cut and blow dry and if she could re-do my layers and style my fringe a bit side fringe. So got my hair washed and we started chatting and then she started to cut my hair. She spent a long time cutting it. She then started blow drying it. After blow drying she went back over with the hair straightener, which defeated the point of blow drying in the first place. But i kept my mouth shut. When it got to the fringe, she cut most of my fringe off which i instantly regretted. To top it all off, when she showed me my hair, she had completely cut off my layers - i now have straight hair with no volume. When it came to paying, she looked at her manager - he looked me up and down and said $170. i thought this was a ridiculous amount to pay considering she she ignored the fact i wanted layers, and she dryed my hair then went over again with the straightener. Dont get me wrong, she was lovely, but i wont be going back.
My Bedrock experience was incredible. Not only does my hair look the best it's ever looked but the salon staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. Absolutely 5 Star.
Bella is brilliant. Great at cutting very curly hair, brilliant head massages, and she's the sweetest, nicest hairdresser. It's a very relaxing experience.
Great salon. Very professional. Best my hair has ever looked.
Bedrock have been keeping me in style for years now and I'm not even thinking about looking around!
