Perth's Favourite Swim + GymnDive into fitness at Beatty Park Leisure Centre in North Perth, just a few kilometers from the CBD. They offer six heated pools, a 750sqm gym, over 100 group fitness classes, and three saunas. Our 50-meter, 8-lane pool, dive pool, and lap pool have been updated since being built for the 1962 Commonwealth Games. Enjoy all these facilities for a modest entry fee.
My partner and I have been coming here for 4 months now and we love it.nnPros: excellent gym, great machines and clean. Amazing pools. Sauna and steam room amazing for recovery after a good workout. Sunbathing/lounge area outside. Staff have always been very friendly to us. The cafe has smoothies and protein powder to add for $1.5nnCons: rush/peak hours are sooo busy in the gym and sauna, so I don’t usually go Monday-Thursday and stick to Fri and weekends. Some of the changing rooms are old as the building is old - I don’t mind and use them more than the new ones as they’re always empty! Lockers in pool area are paid which isn’t great but the Centre is safe enough to leave your belongings outside the sauna.nnHowever I would STRONGLY suggest to reinforce sauna etiquette/rules as some people don’t use towels or shower.
Bought a swimming/spa use day pass. Very clean facilities and worth the price. Large changing rooms with good showers. The spa was very busy on the day we visited. However, this was a public holiday, so it was to be expected. The pools were amazing and a comfortable temperature. Could easily swim lengths and not have any awkward bump ins. Nice staff on reception with helpful service.
This aquatic park is one of the cleanest parks in Perth for babies and toddlers. Plenty of spaces for parents and children to enjoy swimming/playing. You are also allowed to bring inflatables for babies. The shop also offers nice variety of swimming suits and inflatables. Our 15 month baby enjoyed his first visit and we definitely go back. Highly recommended.
Excellent facilities! Clean, helpful staff. Gym is very clean, staff, on ongoing basis are cleaning as users use. State-of-the-art gym equipment . Change rooms are always clean. They offer many classes in a variety of activities. This is top facility in WA. Prices are reasonable. There is something for everybody and every age. Love the mid-century vibe of the very cool cafe.
