Last stop on the 109 Port Melbourne tram and a convenient way to get from the city to the bayside area. Less than five minutes’ walk to a wide range of restaurants and cafes as well as beachside attractions. One of the easier ways to get to / from this spot.
Beacon Cove is a light rail station in the Melbourne suburb of Port Melbourne located on the former Port Melbourne line. Served by route 109 from Port Melbourne to Box Hill via Southern cross. While the tram stop is beautiful, the toilets are not. The absolute most disgusting toilets in Melbourne are here. Please avoid the toilets they smell atrocious. There’s no lid or seat on the toilet seats in the ladies bathroom and no ventilation. Nowhere to dry your hands either. Please avoid I had my shirt over my nose that’s how bad the smell was.
It is exactly perfect for wheelchair people. There's parking there but there is a lot of rebuilding going on around beacon cove tram stop
