Went there to buy a kids kayak. I spotted a kids version of the dragon kayak on a display with $99 on it. So I made enquiries and I was told sorry the kayak the ticket refers to is sold out. I said should you take the ticket down then, the staff member just walked off. I don't know what they were trying to achieve with this false advertising. But I am very disappointed. I was not greater into the store or approached while I. The store. I had to find someone to serve me, I found someone who was standing around doing nothing much at all. The store was not busy at all. When I left there was no good buy just staff again standing behind the counters doing not much. Product knowledge could be a lot better, actually any form of product knowledge would be great. Earlier in the day I tried to ring the store and the phone rang out. The lack of interest I recieved from the staff when I was looking at spending about $600 on a kayak was not what I expected. So I left and drove to rays fountain gate who matches the price and gave me excellent customer service and showed an interest in what I was doing and who also sold me the life jackets and straps. For camping gear I'll just go into my favourite camping shop Aussie Disposals in Cranbourne Park S/C that is what real customer service is. I won't give BCF another go. Customers are everything and deserve your utmost best customer service everytime.

I bought a 4 gas of cans. I asked for a shopping plastic bag for carry. The answer was no bag to offer. I dont know this is shop policy or just dont want to offer a plastic bag to custmer. Not convenience for customer..

Overpriced like all BCF, staff have little product knowledge outside their personal interests, again like all BCF's, and product range is pretty limited. Useful when online can't get there in time....

A vast variety of boating, camping and fishing equipment. Friendly customer service. Easy access form car park. Ample parking. Definitely a place to pop in and see for yourself. Ideal to pop in and grab your bait on the way to your fishing.

BFC have always had quite a good variety of items to buy, be it camping or fishing, or trailer parts etc...I must check out their new store in Cranbourne soon...
