This shop is easy to fall in love with and easier to visit with the book exchange offering a valid outlet for readers with lots of books and few dollars. Alternatively this place offers a great selection and an eclectic feel that only comes with being sorrounded wall to wall by good quality books. Having moved into the area recently, I throughly enjoyed my experience and fell in love with this 17yo bookshop on the wynnum main street. I will be back. Thanks for your help today and I would encourage others to visit if your in the area or a reader!

I wish I could give this place a no star rating, but it won't allow me to. This place is messy, books piled up on the floor, some books just scattered on the ground blocking aisles, and none of the books on the floor are priced. Plus the books on the shelves are so over-priced it's ridiculous! This is a second hand bookshop, a "book exchange" mind you, and they are selling books that you could buy brand new online for much cheaper.

I have visited the shop a few times during the year, and every time a customer swapped their own books for another batch from the shop - no sales at all, just an exchange of books. So, you would think the shop owner would be glad that I was willing to part with my money and actually purchase some books, but no! He wanted to charge me more for a book than it was originally purchased for several years ago (the old price sticker was still on the book). Then he said I could have it for the price on the sticker. It wasn't a rare book, nothing that would increase in value. I put the books back on the shelf and walked out of there. 

If you want to exchange some old books then this is the place to do it, but I suggest you keep your money in your wallet, which is what the regular customers obviously do anyway...
