I absolutely adore Avid Reader, such a relaxed and lovely environment. The events and book launches at Avid are what sets it apart from the rest, being able to enjoy events with authors like Shaun Micallef, Sarah Ferguson and Benjamin Law (and soon Tony Martin) for only $7-10 dollars is nothing short of ridiculous.

One of the better bookshops in Brisbane. Just needs a bigger area to attain more books, especially the classics.

Awesome bookstore. Great selection of contemporary and classic literature. Very interesting Brisbane / local history selection. Great place to find the perfect book as a gift or for yourself.
