This is a family run restaurant. You see many familiar faces in the restaurant seems that the patrons visited here so frequently. The food is fantastic especially the calamari with salad and the seafood spaghetti in Mariana sauce was awesome. It was so authentic and good enough for 3 pax. All are good except the waitress kind of rude and impatient. You don’t raise your hand but wait for her to come to you! She can be nasty.. but lovely food!
Really genuine Italian dinner and menu. Thoroughly enjoyed the dishes they had on offer and there’s plenty left to try another time Ordered: • Bruschetta - fresh tomato and basil salad sitting on a good size of white sourdough bread • Rigatoni Alla Norma - huge chunks of mozzarella and eggplant. Ask for chilli oil, really adds to the flavour • Traditional Lasagna - probably the highlight of the dinner. Delicious beef ragu spread throughout the sheets! Recommend highly. The portion sizes of our meals were very refreshing to see. Good value for money!
The food was amazing. The place is small but very cozy and the staff welcoming, friendly. The size of the portions are worth the prices. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for great dinner!
the best coco cola in town? certainly i will say yes. thank you for the warm service and great food, and of course the best cola.
This place is fantastic for both food and service. We travel over an hour just to come here once every couple of months. The food is very dietary friendly and the gluten free options actually taste like something. The only issue is sometimes seating, generally this is based on the time and day and how busy they are. So I definitely don't blame them for making it work. The atmosphere is great and such a good vibe.
I've eaten here three times now. Always good classic Italian food and pizzas. Probably should have booked, but a table has become free. Last night, they had a large takeaway order so our food took a little longer to arrive so they sent out some complimentary chips to keep my young son going. Will be backFood: 5/5
Shout out to Daniel. Great service. Pizzas today. Yum Freshly cooked as you wait. Try get in early on peak times. This place can get busy. A pleasant cafe experience. Well priced, 5 star atmosphere at a price you can afford, with a more casual cafe feel. EDIT: New Menu Oct 2022... Great new selections. Great coffee. I had a cheese & tomato toastie just the way I like it. Tomato not too hot - not too cold under $10. Some quick take-away options as well! Smashed Avo, omelette & Eggs Benny were a hit. Kid-friendliness: Lots of families come past here.
Went for lunch earlier this week to meet some friends from interstate and it was brilliant. Service was very friendly and professional, the chicken cotoletta was excellent freshly made and not out of a box and the pizzas were crispy and very tasty. Pricing was good value. Happy to recommend. Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs and flexibility to provide extra plates etc. Dietary restrictions: There were gluten free options.
As a French I know what a DECENT pizza is. And what normal size pizza are. Not like those Aussie pizza that ripping you off with their $30 pizza and small af. Really good pizza, really good size. Tasty and delicious. One of the best pizza I had over 8 years in Melbourne. Highly recommend.
Had lunch here and really enjoyed it! Grilled calamari was full of flavor! Pizza and seafood spaghetti was great too! Much better than thes overpriced Italian restaurants in CBD area.
