Bay of Islands Holiday Park is a 4.2 hectare Holiday Park providing Paihia accommodation and is well located for exploring the Bay of Islands. Plenty of trees for shade and the Waitangi River running along one boundary for safe swimming and kayaking up to the Lilypond Falls and listen to the peace and quite of nature as you gently paddle upstream to a tarzan swing and waterfalls and great swimming hole.

Well-presented tourist flats(5) and cabin accommodation(11) Level tent and power sites for campervans and caravans. We cater for group bookings. Backpackers are welcome. Ample parking for boats/trailers.

Swimming pool, playground and wireless hotspot. Safe river swimming, kayak hire. Camp kitchen, laundry and recreation room. Non-metered showers. Waste station. Convenience store.

Paihia Attractions

Free tour bookings and pick-up: cruise the Bay of Islands, swim with dolphins, charter a yacht, take a day trip to Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach. Visit Kerikeri, Paihia, Russell and explore the Far North from here.

Reviews

The environment is good, great for young families.  There is no potable water...and we weren't warned in advanced - and there were no warning signs.  We found out after we asked - after filling a water bottle from the kitchen and noticing it came out brown!  So lots of boiling water and trips to countdown for drinking water.  Would have loved to have known in advance. We stayed in a cabin and it was heavy with mould.  Comfy bead though!  I guess the management was a bit casual...I guess to be expected in Paihia!!  Just be warned.  Otherwise we had a good time.

A beautiful holiday park not too far from Paihia, this little slice of paradise is right next to a beautiful river a bit away from the main road, which allows for a beautiful atmosphere. This holiday park features a wood fire pizza oven, coin operated grill, a beautiful kitchen, and all you can handle hot showers that will make you feel as if you're in a bit more than your standard holiday park. Can definitely recommend.

This is a nice place for groups or young families who don't want to spend much on accommodation. Theres a playground, pool and space for motorhomes and tents. The water isn't really drinkable (likely comes from the stream alongside) as you'll notice by the slightly off colour so watch out for that. Otherwise a pretty pleasant place to stay for a few days.
