Sat outside on a beautiful day in the sun. Ordered some lovely tea. Couldn't decide from the menu which has quite a range of tastes, kept tossing up between breakfast and lunch, went with a spicy sausage ricotta gnocchi lunch special. Tomato ragu melted in my mouth. Waitresses made great communication. Our drinks were taken off the bill for just a 5min delay (which was perfectly fine with us anyway) so they must value their service. Great vibes inside and from staff.

I had this delicious pear and ginger filled donut that was basically the best donut I've ever had. A delicious variety of textures and and subtle flavours that don't compete with each other too much. Staff were extremely friendly and speedy as well.

This place is fantastic. Any coffee snob or self-proclaimed foodie will feel right at home. Good food isn't hard to find in Melbourne, but excellent staff are trickier to find. Bawa staff are by far the key differentiators to other joints. Smiley, relaxed and always wanting to make sure you're looked after. I couldn't recommend Bawa enough!

This is one of my locals and it’s great. Really fresh and original menu. The setting is light and full of greenery. Both shared tables and private available. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. I’ve eaten their green salad about 10 times. Love it!

Friendly cafe with a good menu and decent coffee. Have been once for lunch where the taco special was delicious and the person I was with had the burger which was exactly what she was after.
