We arrived near closing so were advised by one of the staff to go across the river to a gasibo type cafe that served coffee sandwiches and cakes later than they did (not far from the restaurant). It was good advice. Nice setting and tasty toasted sandwich. Coffee was just ok. Not bad.

We stopped by for coffee. The views over the park, Alexandra Suspension Bridge and Cataract Gorge are magnificent. The coffee we had was also very good. Unfortunately cannot say the same for the service. Staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves. On arrival we were directed to a table and advised server would be back to take our order. Got frustrated waiting for table service so returned to counter to place our order. If we had been in the cbd we would have departed and found another coffee shop.

Great place to dine and sightsee at the same time. Good food and clean place, portion can share if you do not eat much.

Took my little boy to the cafe after a swim at the basin. Excellent service, fantastic menu and portion sizes. I can definitely recommend the arancini balls with the goats cheese. I was very pleasantly surprised.
