If you are looking for a basic cafe option that is well priced, clean and friendly, look no more. We sat next to the kitchen window and could see inside was clean and the kitchen team efficient. A busy Boxing Day trade and yet the speed of service and quick table turn over was on point. The food is pleasantly average considering the cafe is surrounded by so many different culinary type options that are mostly high priced. This is a good breakfast option to offset some of the more adventurous and expensive dinners in the surrounding area.
Very basic breakfast fare with no presentation, basically thrown on the plate! My avocado was just mush on a plate with a lemon wedge, eggs & the accompanying so called fried sweet potatoes were just out of a packet! Definitely not worth $20. My friend enjoyed the liver & bacon, but it looked obnoxious to me on the plate. Very good front of house staff. Coffee was passable but definitely needed the extra shot we ordered Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian options Parking: Street parking mainly
I got the corn fritters, I enjoyed the prosciutto and poached eggs with it. We also tried the muesli bowls and they were so good! Coffee was fantastic too.
Sadly from ordering, to having to walk out halfway through breakfast, this place was a real shock.... From wet toast, burnt bacon, wet/microwave eggs & a quote of $9.50 for a coffee, forcing me to purchase coffee from the Woolworths in the centre as saw other patronshad done the same. The egg's were Way below standard, the bacon looked like it had been cooked several times before it was served & the whole expirience has assured that I'd Never waste another cent here again, As mentioned had to walk out before being physically sick, Very poor standards for Broadbeach breakfast, 1/10
$6.30 for an almond picollo with burnt coffee and mostly frothy overheated milk in a espresso cup. The barista obviously has no idea what they are doing as the coffee was actually undrinkable. The BLT was overpriced and full of limp lettuce and burnt bacon. We only came here cos it looked busy and we thought it was good nothing good about it. Ive worked for coffee companies for over a decade if you want a good coffee you won’t find it here, you will just overpay to sit at a cafe in Broadbeach
Bread was very hard. No presentation. Food was tasteless no seasoning. They gave me a little pack of butter to put on my bread for a 24$ meal. People ordered 15 min after me got their food first. So I need d to ask what was going on with my food just after that they started preparing my meal after 20 min. Coffee tasteless tasted pure milk. Awful, will never go back.
This is a basic cafe with a really good breakfast menu. The coffee was not hot when I got it and the bacon in both meals was over cooked which made it hard to chew. Service was pleasant enough and dirty plates were collected from tables very quickly.
The worst dining experience I have had for the past few years. Where to start? The oil in their fryers clearly has not been changed in months, the omelette looked like someone had thrown up on the plate. Avoid this establishment at all costs.
Delicious traditional breakfast with nice, easy service. Very happy with the quality and price of the food. Will be back again, soon
Food was nice, smoothies are the most I’ve seen, but if you don’t allow swap outs on items then 2 star is max
