Overpriced, $70 a night for a small dry dirt patch in an overcrowded park is a rip off. Amenities dirty and not enough for the amount of people at the park . Beach was not safe to swim. Biggest mistake was staying here when there are a lot better places around. Don’t know why this place gets a good rating
Great location and minutes walk away from beach, town centre and bicycle tracks.nnBeach front or one back sites really only suit 18-19’ max sized vans as anything bigger like our 21’ can be a struggle to get in and out of. This can also be due to tight turn roads and lots of overhanging trees.nnAmenities are always clean but also dated.nnWe have been a couple of times now and will be back again. But always out of peak times.
Fab location, beach walks, town all right next to you. Unfortunately many sites including us got robbed which ultimately isn’t the parks fault but the real disappointing part was that after this event no follow up was attempted by staff, we were informed on the day we left that no one had even checked the security cameras.
We just love it here.nCute campsites nestled along the shoreline. Quite and peaceful.nIt's an older park, but the facilities are kept clean.
I made my booking online for a Prime site. My site number was 164. I had mentioned in my booking that I'll be bring a tent.nWhen I reached, there was no number on the site so first confusion was to identify the site.nThe site was extremely dirty, full of dirt, no grass at all and was sandy - not suitable for a tent by any means.nToilets were nearby but only cleaned once a day perhaps, so they were really smelly and full of moths and spiders.nBasic kitchen. The microwave was so dirty that I was forced to clean it first as it was not usable at all.nMy overall experience was not good, perhaps I won't return to this park in future.
