BaristaCats Cafe is Auckland's Central Cat Cafe and Furever Home to 14 very special rescue cats, most of which are older or with special needs.

To those who are travelling and are missing their own cats or if you live in an apartment or home that sadly do not allow pets, our cafe's "catmosphere" is the purrfect home away from home for you.

Our space is divided in to a dining and lounge area with the cats and humans having free range of the entire cafe. This means you don't have to worry about rushing to finish your food and drinks before getting all the cat time possible. The cafe has an A grade food rating and our kitchen is completely closed off by a double door system so you can trust your food and drinks are being prepared in a 100% cat-free space.

For a small entry fee which go towards keeping 'Cat Disneyland' running and its residents happy and healthy, you get to enjoy an hour of cuddles with our furry family plus a complimentary barista-made coffee (with beans from local roastery Be Specialty) or tea (Stir Tea and T2).

If you've worked up an appetite from all the kitty playtime, we have toasted sandwiches and cupcakes to purchase though we are still experimenting with different food offerings so there may be other options available when you visit.

Please note we are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life so may be a little hard to spot! We are just off Queen Street, up Exchange Lane where Queen Street and Fort Street meet - between Oakley and a souvenir store. Go through the door on your right and take the stairs - we are on level 1 (directly above Mojo).
