To mark its 20 year anniversary, Bar Contessa has recently undergone a New-York inspired renovation which aims to bring a little bit of NYC to Balmain. To accompany its newly refurbished New-York styled interior, Bar Contessa is also sporting a new menu, which serves up a modern mix of healthy and hearty breakfast and lunch options. Whether you’re looking for something light or in need of hearty hangover cure, whether your gluten intolerant, vegetarian, or organic obsessed, you are sure to walk away from Bar Contessa with a satisfied smile.

Our most popular breakfast dishes include; Rosa’s breakfast bruchetta (named after Marco’s wife), the Ultimate Bacon and Egg Roll (better known as the brekky burger) and Brioche French Toast (with bacon, banana and maple syrup)! And for lunch, our salads or house made meatballs (Marco’s mothers recipe of course) and the American inspired Deluxe Cheeseburger are popular choices as well.
