Balmoral Heights Reserve

Surprisngly large park with a number of seats. Some nice scented flowers at times during the year. A little noisy at times as it's close to a busy road. Still a nice place to visit

Delightful little park and home to several native butterflies that breed their. Rob Jones working with Auckland city council and local forest and bird members have helped develop this sanctuary for the benefit of the local community to enjoy. A detailed notice board is in the park with more info.

Quiet, peaceful and great for butterflies.

Nice small butterfly focused reserve, by the main road but with planting to shield it. Not worth a journey, but nice to pass through.

A cute little oasis on a very busy street corner but with handy side roads for parking. Big enough for the dog to stretch his legs. Not a destination park but a lovely spot nonetheless.
