It’s not far from CBD Beautiful peaceful, clean blue water, it's easy to swim here. Ocean views are great. It’s easy to find parking spots here even on weekends and walk around and get some fresh air and sunshine and chill out.One of my favourite beaches
I went to Balmoral beach today with my 11 year old daughter and swam at the wharf and we loved it! It's a clean beach with no waves with plenty of parking $10 per hour and places to eat and the toilet and shower areas have hot water. Great beach for all ages. We will be back :.
Good. There no light around beach. It's natural. You can't see sunset but good atmosphere.
Beautifully peaceful, clean blue water, and lush greenery! As the bay breaks some of the ocean waves, it's easier to swim in and won't pull you into the water as aggressively as some of the other beaches in Sydney! One of our favourite beaches during our visit.
Very nice beach. Calm water, perfect for kids. Went there around 10am with my wife and baby. Parking was easy that time ..there was still a number of parking available by the time we left. We had our lunch at the Hunter Park across the street.
Balmoral Beach is not far from the Sydney Central Business District and within easy reach with public transport. It's mostly family oriented, but not exclusively. There's also a sailing club for those so inclined.
Fabulous family and child friendly beach. Safe swimming with minimal wave action but made up by some fun jumping off the jetty. Perfect for long beach walks and exploring the rocks at low tide especially. Great amenities and playground. Lots of shade on grassed areas too. Dogs on leash are welcomed.
Good place for a relaxing day on the beach! The water is quiet and clear, good for swimming , SUP or just play with sand. Good and clean facilities like toilet , restaurant, showers, walking track. Plenty of parking on the street.
A beautiful harbour side location squirrelled away from noise and tourists with photo opportunities everywhere as well as some of the best eateries you will ever find. Unfortunately many things are not wheelchair accessible but is nice to dream about visiting them someday. .
Every Australian friend group must go to Balmoral at least once. Its a beautiful beach that has calm waters, small jump areas and picnic areas. Part of the adventure is getting there the military road traffic is horrendous and the other is finding your way back after missing the last bus. Its quite popular but I was fortunate that there was a small shower, which scared off most visitors, and left the rest of the beach for us to enjoy. The area is quite expensive so bringing your own meal is highly encouraged. There is also limited public parking and the spots near the beach are metered. Underrated activity: throwing a coin in the wishing well
