Best feed of fish and chips we have had in a long time. The young fella behind the counter was great and pulled out 4 small pieces of flake for us and weighted and crumbed them. Melt in your mouth. Great chips and crumbed prawns. Cooked just right. Yum

Excellent seafood and service! I’ve placed some big orders with Ballina Fishermen’s Co-Op over the past year and I’ve been highly impressed with the quality of their products particularly the HUGE prawns we got there recently, the consistently fresh fish,  delicious cured salmon and succulent oysters! Plus, they have shown outstanding professionalism and insight into their products. Make sure you order in advance to get ahead of the crowds is my tip!

We travel down every year and grab seafood for our anniversary and have done for over 20 years.  Unfortunately this time the prawns were not  fresh, hope we don’t get food poisoning very limited choice of fresh fish and overall disappointed with the food quality.  Won’t be going back appears it may have changed hands.  Sorry for this review but you need to lift your game if you want continued service.

My first visit I purchased salmon, it was beautiful. When I went back I got some fish and chips which were thoroughly enjoyable then got a lovely piece of barra.  Yum.  Highly recommended.

Coming from Sydney we thought locally sourced prawns were a good idea. Okay, so the prices were extortionate - we thought benefit of the doubt given the prawn supply issues of past years. But then to be offered a “bag” of prawns thinking they were the same quality as the loose “large” prawns was my biggest mistake. The bagged stuff is the small leftovers from days ago. We felt swindled. Ballina is rubbish for prawns, plain and simple. Just go to Woolies.

Worst fish and chips I've ever eaten. Awful food, awful service. Wouldn't go back. Arrived at around 6pm. Some of the items ordered and paid for, weren't received. Food was severely overcooked. Staff seemed upset that we arived within 20 minutes of them due to close, despite spending clost to $150

Really great fresh seafood at a decent price. Got the fisherman’s basket and that was great real prawn in the prawn cutlets. Would recommend stopping in if you have the chance.

Prawns were really fresh and tasty but unfortunately the rock oysters weren't so much. I didn't know until afterwards that there's a full seafood market down the road

Had some whiting, chips and oysters which were all lovely. They had a nice selection of fresh seafood and offer cleaning if you buy a whole fish. They have an interesting assortment of fishing memorabilia from the area as well.

Amazing quality seafood! I’ve never had a crab so fresh, this has definitely topped my seafood experiences! Highly recommended, especially the crab!
