I can't speak highly enough of Ballarat Property group and in particular Jamie Stephens. We have recently built an Investment property and Ballarat Property Group now manage it for us. As we live some distance from the property it is wonderful knowing it is in such capable hands. Jamie is very personable and helpful. If there are any issues he handles them very professionally and deals with them until they are resolved. Very Happy!

We are renting a house through Ballarat Property Group. Our AMAZING property manager is Jessica Stevenson. Jess has always been very approachable and easy to deal with. Nothing is ever too much trouble, no matter how busy she is. Whenever we have needed maintenance done, Jess has sorted it very quickly. She is a massive asset to Ballarat Property Group.

Samuel Steele's post is greatly appreciated. I am extremely busy and asked that Ballarat Property Group assist me in finding a rental. What an unprofessional bunch! Complete waste of my time, time and again, and after 6 days, I just gave up and walked away. Thank God it did or else it might have ended up like the nightmare experienced by Samuel Steele. I wonder if there is an industry standard in the property sector to deliver the worst possible service and customer care?

I've been a renter, and a landlord, for close to ten years. In that time, no agency comes as close to Ballarat Property Group's unprofessional conduct and appalling contempt for tenants.
I moved into a property that had not been cleaned appropriately, or maintained. The garden was overgrown, light bulbs defective, dirty carpet, and grubby walls and windows. It took several days of correspondence before Ballarat Property Group had the house re-cleaned at my request.
During my tenancy, the property manager failed to repair a leaking tap, a leaking dishwasher, a defective roller blind, and a faulty lock on the backdoor. When informed of this, the director and senior property manager also failed to respond to my emails and concerns.
During the final inspection, the agency demanded I repair holes in the walls that I had originally documented in the incident report at the start of my tenancy. They also demanded I repair the lock at the back of the house despite my emails outlining its need for repair. They also asked for $250 compensation for moving a picture hook, one of close to 15 already in the property, as well as a chip in the wall. Moreover, they demanded I repair a fractured window. A glazier informed me that this was the result of improper installation and excessive exposure to extreme weather, not through any direct impact with an object. It was an ordeal just to have the bond returned despite leaving the property in an indisputably better condition than when I moved into the property.
I could not advise potential tenants in further terms to avoid Ballarat Property Group's unprofessional agency. Ballarat is home to a number of reputable real estate agencies willing to treat tenants with the most basic level of respect, give them your business instead.

Lies, lies and more lies... Real bottom feeders that will say anything to line their pockets. The only good guy there left....
