The Ballcourt Hotel is Sunbury's ultimate venue featuring The Sports Bar, Jackson Bar, Cellardoor Wine Bar, Thirsty Camel drive thru and 4 beer gardens!

Story

The Ballcourt Hotel was constructed in the mid to late 1870's. It is the only remaining 19th century hotel in Sunbury and maintains the characteristic 19th century corner frontage.

The Ballcourt Hotel comprises of the Sport Bar featuring a TAB, the new Jackson Bar and private courtyard, the Cellar Door Wine Bar and the Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop.

The Sports Bar is a great place to enjoy a cold beer while watching the footy and the races and play a few games of pool.

The newly developed Jackson Bar is the place to be when you want a delicious meal in a bistro setting.

The Cellar Door is Sunbury's newest hotspot, featuring an amazing selection of wine and craft beers from local and international wineries and breweries plus regular live music.

So grateful to my mate Blake that he recommended this place! He orders the Parmigiana and so I thought I’d try it too and now it’s my favourite food option in the menu! Portion is massive and a good amount of Chips perfectly salted and a nice portion of Salad too and the perfect salad without Cucumber as I don’t like Cucumber! Service was amazing and staff are super friendly to me and my friends! Atmosphere is very lively and cozy! Overall a 10/10! Thank you Ball Court Hotel for such an amazing dinner Everytime I dine here!
We love it here! The Ball Court Hotel in Sunbury offers a classic Aussie pub experience with a warm, welcoming vibe. The venue is quite large, but cozy at the same time, offering different seating options and rooms to suit everyone. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The menu leans into hearty pub fare; steaks, pies, parmas, and they offer vegetarian options that are equally as delicious. They have a nice selection of cold craft beers, wine and cocktails.
Great pub, venue is larger with lots of options for seating.nService was super friendly upon arrival.nI wanted a mule as seen on the menu however wasn’t available on the app to order so I had to go up to the bar from the seated dining. I had the pie which was delicious - I love a true pie not a puff pastry top and this was amazing. My partner ordered the porterhouse medium rare which was over cooked, tough and chewy. It came with the SMALLEST mushroom sauce which after 3 dips was gone. Overall nice though but some feedback to help improve
So nice to see an update to this classic pub. The Barramundi was absolutely delicious. Was busy and a little loud but still able to have a conversation. Limited dessert options were a bit disappointing, stick to the mains.
Lee was a great bartender. He helped me choose a wine that I would like. He went through the different wines and the different flavours they give. He was welcoming, warm and very knowledgeable. The food was beautiful with a wide variety menu. Atmosphere was lovely. You have the dinning area for a more intimate experience or the outside area which has shade heaters/fans for anyone wanting to sit outside to eat and drink. I would highly recommend the ball court for a fun and enjoyable experience.
