Quaint and reasonably priced little cafe. The food is super tasty and the cakes on display are always great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I love this place.

We have been coming here for a while now. The food is great and presentation is outstanding. The staff and owner are very hospitable. However we had a bad experience with my daughters 21st birthday cake. We ordered the cake about 3 weeks out from the event. On reading another review we decided to contact them to confirm our cake booking. When we went there the order had been cancelled and after a discussion it was put down to them changing to a new order book ????? First red flag. Anyway still plenty of time. We went back on the Thursday before the Saturday pick up and was told by staff it was in the oven as we speak. I thought it seemed early to cook a cake but im no expert. Went in on the Saturday of her birthday and picked it up. It looked great. Got home and opened the box and found the top tier of the cake had sunk into the bottom tier. The top tier was just way to heavy and with no support just sunk into the base. It had not slid or moved in the car. I contacted the shop to tell them but it was too late to repair it. I subsequently sent pictures to the owner who sent me a txt saying she would call me later that day......which never happened. I have waited a week now with no response and am disappointed that my daughters $149 cake was ruined and still no word from Fork and Cake. It is disappointing as the issue could have been resolved privately. I am not going to enter into a back and forward debate on my post except to say  a 21st is a major milestone usually remembered by the centre point being the cake. ....Not in this case.
