Bales park is a great local park. It's aimed more at younger kids. It has benches and a BBQ if you want to hold a picnic/party there. There isn't much rain cover if it gets wet though.

Fun park for our 20 month old. We stayed about 30 minutes.

If toilets are locked there is not really much privacy for little one to pee. There is a function hall you can book for birthday parties and the park is ok for younger kids. In terms of kids soccer during season, the lines are all worn out so you cannot see the markings and parents constantly walk onto the field which is annoying if you have a kid trying to play soccer.

Nice park. Trees on the edge so there is shade to sit and enjoy matches.
