discovered this bakery on Instagram and decided to visit to buy some bread. When I arrived, there was a long queue, and I waited about 15 minutes to enter. The staff was very busy, but they managed everything well. The prices are slightly higher than average, but the variety of baked goods is good. Overall, I liked it!

A trip to Caulfield Park is incomplete without a visit to Baker Bleu. This bakery offers staple food for the local Jewish neighbourhood of Caulfield North. The seeded sourdoughs and crusty crossaints are sublime. Even the coffee is excellent, and you can buy the beans to enjoy at home. The bakery offers limited opening hours 7 days a week until sold out, and there's usually a queue out the door. Outdoor seating available along Hawthorn Rd. Catch a tram to Caulfield Park, or walk from the train station.
Highly recommend the croissant dough custard tart! We pre ordered the pastries online last night it’s very convenient!! We had the wagyu beef sandwich, it was very big and delicious.
First of all, they make best bread, so credit where credit is due! But the drop off has definitely begun in their once unbeatable chicken sandwiches. The chicken and avocado used to be loaded into their sandwich and now it’s a lot smaller with different bread being used. At such a high price of $18+ they need to keep their sandwich consistent in size, as it’s three times in a row I’ve received a disappointing one. The photo says it all and looks nothing like what is depicted on their social media.
