Flight was delayed by 5 hours, the rental service was supposed to be closed on arrival but they stayed open and ensured we could collect the vehicle. The 100km limit a day is not ideal for the area, one return trip from the resort to the rock will use the allowance up pretty quickly. 30 cents per KM thereafter..overall good experience.
When We had the paperwork done and the payment made, the nice lady at the Thrifty counter told us that we had included in the price ONLY 100 KM per DAY. Hundred km per day in Australia !!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Initially we thought it was a joke but it wasn’t. All the following km charged at 0.37 A$/km. We will never EVER rent a car with this rental company.
An excellent car hire experience with Thrifty at AYQ. The vehicle was in great condition, and the team were very accommodating with a last minute change to our booking. Thank you!
