I booked Avalon Resort for a surprise weekend away for my partners 50th birthday. We were both surprised by the tranquil, bush setting as we drove in and still only being a 5 minute walk from the main town centre. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and were given the opportunity to pick an upgrade if we wanted, which we appreciated. All amenities were explained to us thoroughly. This was a lovely unit with full kitchen, large bedroom and comfortable bed. We had direct access to the shared dining/BBQ area, spa, sauna and swimming pool. We made the most of the spa pool and the nice walks around the property. This was the best choice for a quiet, relaxing, replenishing weekend away.
Wow!! The most stunning and relaxing experience! We stayed in one of the cottages for 2 nights. The cottage was beautifully decorated, everything was so comfortable and luxurious and clean - even my 12yo son was just standing there going - wow, this is amazing!nnThe grounds are just magical, native birds, greenery, citrus trees, ducks in a pond below to visit. It just felt like we stepped into paradise. The hot spa and sauna were exactly what we needed, as it was a rainy 2 days, and it was magical to sit in the spa under the stars. They have all the towels, a BBQ, and pizza stove to use.nnThe beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped.nThe owner was a lovely man, and we felt very welcomed.nnThank you so much - I can not believe we stumbled upon your paradise - so affordable and so close to the main town.nnWe will definitely be back.nKarina and Jett
Love this place. The cabins are awesome and the views are amazing. There is no commercial noise, just birds chirping and the sounds of nature. And visits to your doorstep from chickens, ducks and other wild life looking for pats and treats
Fabulous location and our room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Bed was really comfortable. We will definitely return for a longer stay next time. Exceptional value and Mike and Diane were so kind and welcoming. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary so special
Absolutely fantastic..Spent a night with my mum and sister. Place was very warm..Friendly people. Will be back real soon..This place will start being our regular place to go too.
