My daughter joined APAC 10 years ago at just 4 years of age. I was a reluctant swimming and rugby loving mum, very unsure about the world of dance. Little did I know then what an important role it would play in her life. To say my daughter loves APAC is an understatement. She is fortunate to be able to participate in ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, singing, acting, hip hop, acro, lyrical as well as many performance opportunities. The standard of the teaching and choreography is outstanding, the production quality is world class. One of the highlights is the opportunity to work on location with professional film crews and direction to produce quality screen acting in the September School Holiday. This experience is invaluable.
My daughter has been a student of APAC for seven years now and every year I’ve seen her develop not just her skills in different forms of dance, or her vocal skills in singing, or her range in acting, but also her discipline and strong work ethic. And I know this is a credit to this performing arts school, with its team of amazing teachers and staff dedicated to nurturing not just the students’ talents but also teaching them the value of hard work and professionalism . And other than the strong friendships my daughter has formed in this school, one of the most important things that makes APAC stand out is their non-competitive culture. Sure, their students are known to win or place highly in dancing or singing competitions, but that’s not just what this school is all about. This school is also about teaching their students well to allow them opportunities to get a “yes” in an industry that mostly says “no”. This school is about giving them the tools to not just be successful in the world of performing arts, but also in the real world. That, I think, is pretty valuable.
It’s a lovely school which feels like a big family. The staff love the kids and remember the parents of each child that needs a skill! Meanwhile they require the kids to develop great techniques and good behaviours. The annual production is fantastic and professional. I particularly love their specialty in music theatre which brings singing, dancing and acting together and gives kids in the Company awesome commercial performance experience. And the new studio is spectacular!
This is a fun and very professional school that offers all the types of performing arts classes, including singing, dancing, acting and acrobatics. The studios are amazing and the performances never fail to impress us and our family and friends. The opportunities throughout the year are many including ballet and tap exams, eisteddfods, camera work and various industry events to perform at as a group. The end of year production is an incredible mix of great choreography, music, lighting and costumes and gives kids of all ages a chance to experience all there is to know to perform in a large live stage show. APAC has a lovely strong sense of community and has offered my children so much variety and opportunity. It has everything we wanted and so much more!
My daughter started dancing here this year, and she hasn't been this happy in dancing for years. She has grown and developed so much this year, and it is all due to the dedication and support of all her teachers and the staff at APAC. It is a really professional and supportive environment with a family feel. Whether you want to do one type of dancing or many, singing, acting, or a combination - APAC has a program to suit, and all students are given great opportunities, teaching and support. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending APAC. The teachers, staff, parents and kids are wonderful.
APAC is an amazing school that offers so many different genres of dance, singing and acting. Full with amazing teachers, a very friendly and homely environment, and amazing choreography, you can’t go wrong at a school like this. Now attending their classes I can say that this school offers you so much opportunity in the industry, but also teaching you amazing life skills I will cherish for the rest of my life x
The Australian Performing Arts College is the leading school for all subjects. Your child will become a triple threat due to the love, care and skills their teachers provide. I just completed my degree over here in New York, with love and support from APAC. If it wasn't for APAC I wouldn't have been able to get this far. Professionalism is key at APAC. They help your children not only become well rounded but professional, so when they encounter the industry they have the full package. Stop your search for a dance school, because at APAC you'll get a family.
