I was very frustrated to find out that despite being regularly open on Saturday, that to my disappoint they were closed due to staff shortages all of a sudden. The post office is an essential service and the fact that the only window in which I can pick up a parcel during a week is no longer available is incredibly frustrating.
Never answers the phone and when you go there you get a grunt
Not working on time. 9.20am and still it is closed and even it’s a Saturday
Appalled. Walked in and told the employee in a neutral friendly tone that i would like to pick up my parcel. he looked down his nose at me like i was the scum of the earth and snottily asked if i had any ID. I gingerly passed him my ID and showed him the code I had to go along with the parcel. he then ignored me and just said ‘james street’ with no context. when i asked what did he mean he just repeated ‘JAMES STREET’. mortified, confused and packageless, i scampered out with my tail between my legs. clearly my prescience insulted him, as if asking him to do his job was an insult. Just confused what was going on there. day ruined.
The staff are always willing to help, even going out of their way to help photocopy many many documents and help me comlile them to send them, all in order and I had a lot to do, and many bills to pay also, thankyou
