Busy little post shop, but the staff are generally pretty patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Parking is a bit woeful but if you don't mind walking through from Young St it's generally not too bad.

Thanks to the post office we have arrived in our parcel in their collection area. Not door to doors any more even is a registered post. especially in the remote area. Do not do register post any more you pay more then not delivery to your home.
Gympie Post Office is the worst service I have ever had! The first time I went to pick my package, because the name was different, I was told that I needed proof of address on the bank statement, or relevant documents. I was not told that I also need a passport or ID. The second time I came over and brought the bank statement, I still couldn't pick up my package! I am very disappointed with their service and will definitely not use their services at Gympie in the future! If there are 0 star, they definitely get it for sure, they don’t deserve 1 star.
I hate using this post office. I hardly ever walk away having a good experience. This time Telstra or their courier send a parcel in my name but with my partners drivers license number as proof of identity. Now the post office do not want to give us the parcel because it's in my name but her drivers license number. They don't care if both of us are standing in front of them, one producing a drivers license with the correct name and the other drivers license with the correct number and both of them with the same address. What a joke what is the sense in that. They just talk over you and do not listen to reason or provide an explanation.
