Its always interesting to read reviews and others experiences. Of all the post offices I have used for work or personal I have to say they are the most helpful. They take time to explain options when posting items you wouldn't normally post to new locations. I had confusion when COVID hit and trying to post on the work account and they explained what I needed to do. I've always gotten a smiley good morning/afternoon. Maybe because I go in with a smile.
The indian lady is by far the most rudest person i have ever encounter... there was a few occasions where she has been rude and i didnt say anythin as i didnt want anythin to become a big deal...but this time around i had enough so i had to say something .....so this is what went down....nnI went to pick up my 7 parcels with my friend... which the delivery driver did not bothered knockin on our door as we were home ALL DAY. Anyways got to the alexander heights post office and i was hoping i didnt get the indian lady i have a feeling shes the owner. These parcel werent small they were huge ..i was trying to tell her the story of what happened..not blaming her by the way...just telling her my experience with delivery drivers and how its not the first time that it has happened....she was like its not my problem dont complain to me she says...excuse me didnt you listen to what i just said ...im not blaming you im just telling you my side of the story and shes like yelling at me telling me how rude im talking to her i was like looking at my friend and we both we gob smacked on the level of customer service she was lacking. Never again am i going there..i called australia post on the same day and asked for my parcels to get re-directed...hopefully it happens so i wont have to deal with that miserable person again..... AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!
Saturday morning. Only two service staff on who were both doing multiple entire family groups passport applications. I get it - children are not always cooperative with photos and it takes longer. A line of people waiting. I gave up waiting and left.nPerhaps have one person processing passport applications with a booking system and one server for those who need actual postal services?
This is my local post office, they are always helpful and friendly. I have never had a bad experience with them and I appreciate them taking the time to help me when I need it!
The lady I encountered just few minutes ago at the post ruined my mood for the day.nI went there to collect my parcel but the way she dealt the me was different from the way I found her dealing with other clients. She basically knew that I am Asian and she seems in rush to end conversation with me.nI saw her talking politely and with smile with 3 non- Asian people who were before me in the queue.nIs she being racist at work place?nMadam,nYou should learn some basic communication skills. I don’t care whether you are 10-15 years experienced in this work but I think your experience in dealing with people or customer is still 0.nThanks.
