This is the only post office that manages to be both rude and completely ineffective. This is the only place that I have had failed returns - I’ve had multiple parcels sent back to me after lodging official Amazon returns from this post office, something I’ve never experienced anywhere else. The staff don’t communicate, insist the labels are “definitely correct,” and wave me off whenever I ask for more information—then immediately call up the next person. They’re consistently rude and curt to everyone. At this point, I do not recommend this post office, and I will never go here again.
After years of quality service from Jim, helping me post across Australia and overseas, I’ll no longer be coming to this store. He was obviously the only person who could care about customer service and relations in the community. Absolutely cold and appalling service without even a smirk during my last few visits. Today, I went in after I had appalling service from a young male employee on 2 October, where he obvious incorrectly processed an internal parcel and it was returned to me after a few days. After waiting patiently today, I said to the person at the counter that I received terribly unhelpful service on 2 October. I received no acknowledgement other than a defensive response which made no sense in relation to why the parcel came back to me.nnGiven the increased cost of Post, you’d think retail would try its best to entice customers in store. I’ve come in a few times recently and not even received a greeting where I’ve at least initiated it - “good morning”, “hi” - got nothing in return. There’s no point coming here and I’ll make an effort to go out of my way to travel further. The Avondale Heights community deserves far better than this.
Arrived at 12:40pm to pick up a parcel, there is 1 staff working and doing a passport application. There is a line of 9 people behind me and it is now 1:10pm and they are retaking the photos again. 30 mins for a simple parcel pickup is not good enough.
Really disappoint service and bad attitude,Olivia so rude for customer,can’t believe, and so disappoint with Aus Post, I would rather give Zero Star
Twice sent a parcel internationally containing bday gift for my son and grandson twice returned possibly overcharged due to incompetence new people I thinknNo refund was offered or allegedly possiblennVery disappointed
