The single star could only be given for the friendliness of the delivery guys. I would recommend not using Aussiemove NT. Having moved a number of times I knew that my insurance policy required that all items were unpacked by the removalist. When it almost feels like a negotiation for this to occur then the experience is already off to a bad start. Aussiemove NT unpacked all our household items from the original shipping containers into their "home" boxes one week before delivery - one week after I had requested delivery. A whole home box had been misplaced in the process and it had to subsequently be located at the depot after many items were noticed to not be present. When these boxes were unpacked at our house some items fell out because they were so badly packed in and it soon became apparent that quite a few more items had been badly damaged (some beyond repair). Furthermore quite a few more were lost (and have still not been recovered months later). Couches were delivered on the back of the truck - open to the elements - because they wouldn't fit into an Aussiemove NT home box. It took Aussiemove NT a month to even explain why there had been a (seemingly unnecessary) unpack-repack. Other elements of customer service have been simply absent.

My experience with Aussie removals was a very poor. I was unable to attend the pre-pack and uplift and the delivery of my personal belongings however I did have a very trusted agent to facilitate the removal. I payed for a full removal but basically got a "dump and run" and when my agent tried to intervene was give a very negative response. As the delivery of the good for example thing that should go into the shed were put in the house and vise versa. To cut a long story shout it added 2 to 3 days to sort out the clutter. I highly recommend to use another removal company.

It's not often I'll publically bad mouth a company but this is by far the worst removal experience I have had thus far. Aussiemove NT have failed to tell me when they were arriving for uplift, arrived late, completed a rubbish condition report on my furniture, poorly packed the container and to top it all off on delivery day tell me they have not got our container in the destination. Three weeks after they collected my furniture and effects in Darwin it still remains in location and it is required to be cross loaded into different containers before it can even start the move to Townsville. I can't wait to see how much stuff is broken.
