August Panel and Spray Ltd is a well established company that has been in business since 1994. Starting with two employees, the company has grown to now include over 13 qualified members of staff.

August Panel & Spray run a state-of-the art, fully equipped panel and paint shop. We have the latest automatic technology to get a perfect finish, every time and provide you with a quick turn around. We are proudly the biggest panel and spray shop in Wellington.

"Drop-off/pick-up" service:

Includes the option of a loan car if needed (we have 12 loan cars available).

Our premises are extremely accessible to all customers – situated a mere 1km from the train station.

An overnight car storage facility is provided, with storage for up to 50 cars.

I do not recommend this place.  If your insurance company recommends them, tell them to recommend another one.  Poor service by the Estimator -  Perry. He ignores you and does a poor job at assessing the damage.  Don't let Gary the owner touch your car, he wanted to charge extra for the damage on the bumper even though I've told the insurance company and the staff at the panel beater that the WHOLE bumper fell off due to the accident.  The work was done quickly but I have no confidence in their work.  When I went to pick up the car, I found that they left out the screws for the bumper. I asked him why, he said the screws weren't there in the first place.  Surely anyone with a bit of common sense would know that if the whole bumper fell off due to an accident, its likely the original screws fell off too!!!  The only upside were the ladies at reception, they were professional.  Having been in an accident is frustrating enough, having to deal with August Panel & Spray made it worse.  I would stay away from this place.Services:&nbsp;Body &amp; Trim

We had a very poor experience with August Panel & Spray.  They had to have two attempts at our job and neither time was the work done properly. There were several defects in the work the first time, including dents not removed, debris baked into the paint finish, new scratches added and incomplete clear coating. Obviously, this was disappointing – and they hadn't even noticed: we had to highlight it to them!  So we returned the car to August to reattempt the job. Even after this second attempt, the job wasn’t done properly as the profile of the panel no longer matched its original form.  The quality of output August delivered to us fell well short - twice. But what was most concerning was Glen’s manner, which was abrupt, insincere and evasive.  We decided we could no longer work with Glen and have taken the car to another repairer who has advised the entire panel now needs to be replaced with a new one.  We will not use August Panel & Spray again and would caution others before doing so.Service:&nbsp;Body &amp; Trim

unfortunately we have had a few lots of car repairs ar AP&P. Each time the service has been great, all paperwork done eaiot through insurers and communication has been good. Will hopefully not need panel beating again but if we do we would come back! recommendedServices:&nbsp;Body &amp; Trim

My partner and I have had 2 vehicles come through August panel and paint and unfortunately on both occasions we were left disappointed. This review relates to the most recent work we had carried out on our Ute.  1. They invoiced my partner and I private work and the insurance company for work that was never done on both vehicles.  2. They didn't polish the rear door correctly after painting it and I had to go back to have this corrected.  3. They said my car would be ready to pick up on a Friday, I went in on Friday afternoon and Glen told me they were just giving it a wash so I told my ride they could leave and then after waiting half an hour glen says they hadn't actually painted anything yet and I would need to come back the next week. This cost me money and time having to pay for a taxi home and being without my vehicle for that weekend.  4. I requested a quote for private work, specifically for the front door to be prepped and painted$747.50. During the quote process glen told me that they would need to remove and reback the monsoon sheild$30 which never happened and they've only painted from the bottom of the window down, leaving out the window surround. So the whole door wasn't actually painted as requested and it's quite noticable where they've feathered/tapered the paint work at the bottom of the window frame.  •Overall a negative experience at August Panel and Paint with Poor Quality Workmanship, Dishonesty and Bad Communication. I won't be going back here again and do not recommend them to anyone.

We felt that these people were genuine and not rip offs. My daughter's car was fixed and it was suggested that if some of the parts were removed it would reduce the cost. Great service. Very happy customer
