The staff is amazing. I was greeted by pooja, the centre nurse...who was handling reception while the reception staff were having a meeting.nnWhat a joy she was to interact with ! Clearly explained the process, brings you to ease and explains before hand the wait time which you can clearly expect at medical centres.nnHad a similar experience with doctor herath who listened to my issues and answered my queries very well.nnWould strongly recommend this clinic !
I normally wouldn’t leave a review, as my regular GP here is absolutely wonderful if she ever leaves, I’ll be following her. However, while she’s been on leave, my experience with the rest of the practice has been really disappointing.nnI needed to organise an EPC Chronic Disease Management plan for my son to access speech therapy under Medicare. I made a Telehealth appointment with another GP, who was 20–30 minutes late and then flatly refused to do the plan, saying it must be face-to-face. She didn’t offer any options or explain why, just said the centre manager would call me.nnThe manager later rang and confirmed it had to be face-to-face, then suggested we could book a video consult instead, which I appreciated and rearranged work and daycare to make happen. The next day, I got a call from reception saying the GP refused to see us because we weren’t “regular patients.” When I asked for clarification, I was told the doctor needed to have seen my child twice face-to-face before issuing the plan - something that could easily have been explained at the very beginning instead of wasting two days of my time.nnChildcare isn’t cheap, sick leave is precious, and being messed around multiple times by the same clinic is just poor management. If the centre manager and doctors actually knew the policy before offering “solutions,” this whole situation could have been avoided.nnBulk billing doesn’t mean our time is free. Really disappointed overall and will be waiting until my usual GP returns before booking again.
Very Professional and friendly staffs. Special thanks to nurse Pooja who took care of me on both of my treatment visits. she was caring, friendly, and professional each time. She really took time to listen and make me feel comfortable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Such a lovely and dedicated nurse — thank you, Pooja!
My son fell sick whilst traveling at Christmas time. Merindah Medical Clinic had appointments available, were easy to access and Dr Evan Jay was very personable and understanding. Will definitely come back when traveling up Sydney.
I have been seeing Dr Karina Jain for just over a year and she is fantastic. Very friendly, compassionate and caring but also very knowledgeable and straight to the point. I was very nervous about seeing a new doctor but she has been very non-judgmental and a great help to improving my health outcomes.nnThe other medical centre staff are friendly and it is easy to book online. There is sometimes a bit of a wait but find me a medical centre in sydney that does not have this problem! Bulk billing is obviously a great positive too. Would recommend merinda medical centre and Dr Jain to anyone in the area.
