Lovely spot in the midst of James St. Perfect location to chill around with a couple of drinks. Cool ambience, day & night. Unfortunately, they don't sell IPA's. Never mind, Loved the lagers :
Vibrant bar in the heart of James St with great food and cocktails. If you want to have a couple of drinks with friends in a cute beer garden with good tunes this is the place to be. It has been a staple in the Brisbane bar scene for the last 10+ years and never fails to disappoint.Food: 5/5
Our Family has had 2 milestone birthday celebrations at Sixes and Sevens a 50th and a 21st Birthday. The Function coordinator Lucia was awesome and very helpful with the planing and set up on the night of our events. Our experience was amazing from the atmosphere, food and the service we received. I would highly recommend this venue for your next celebration.
We went here last night, I wasn’t going to post a review at first but after the amazing meal we’re having at a different place, it needs to be known that the beef ragu at sixes and sevens was the most disappointing pasta I’ve ever had. It tasted like straight mustard and I do not recommend. Three of us ordered it and even after salt and pepper there was no saving it.
We had a situation arise with a male who was touching up someone from my group in appropriately. The sixes and sevens team came into action as soon as they could and kicked him out as well as move us to space further away. Sienna and Liam were amazing! Make our night enjoyable after the situation that happened.
Nice bar and restaurant . Food is fresh tasty . A quick lunch and a great nice moment to slow the day . Inside decoration is nice and holiday beach style , outside more than 4 small terrace nothing big but smooth and quiet . ThanksFood: 5/5

It’s a nice spot to hang out but the food was not all great. The wagu burger was great, the calamari was good, the chicken burger very disappointing, I don’t know how they manage to make the chicken so flat and minuscule , no idea what part of the chicken it came from, more of a crispy over cooked tough to cut mangle with something in the middle looking chicken like but not much of it. The fries were luke warm , and the whole meal took ages to come , maybe 50 minutes, but the restaurant was not overly busy.
