The food and customer service were great. The portions were more than reasonable. The spices and favor left me savoring for more. As a traveler and foodie, the Spicy Affair is a restaurant I would love to visit again.
Good food, Good vibes, Great customer service
I found the food here most enjoyable, much better than the sort of curries you can get in places where good flavour and texture are replaced by salt, sugar and hot spice all put into something more like a porridge. Also great in this small restaurant was that one of the main guys there was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Under new management and ownership, with now a great atmosphere in a wonderful location, a short distance from East Croydon Station, with lovely welcoming staff, a brilliant catering team preparing amazing Afro-Caribbean Food. A delicious delight...!!!
Loved the food! Best African food I’ve had in ages. Really recommend the Jollof rice! Their coleslaw is divine. Booked here for my mum’s surprise dinner and she enjoyed it aswell. Will definitely continue to come

As it's now a Ghanaian restaurant, I can fully rate it's food and I must say it's top notch. The atmosphere is great and cosy. The maître d' was brilliant and quite an entertaining fellow. It is relatively new so the only issue is the fact that its' front is the original design that was used by the previous owners. It does not scream African until you enter. But rest assured, the interior looks splendid and homely. Prices are fair and service very friendly. Highly recommended.
Good food slightly overpriced like most African restaurants, so find it quite and empty all the time I've been there, and wonder if it's not better to price reasonable and get more customers in....hey ho...I might be wrong..... But the food is jolly good
