What a fantastic culinary experience - tried Afghanistan cuisine for the 1st time at this restaurant yesterday - chicken karahi, chickpea chicken korma, Afghan fried chicken, chicken beryani pallow sizable portion!, lamb kebab with bread. I had chicken karahi served with basmati rice - the rich tomato + herb sauce was superb! Staff were friendly & served with professionalism. Environment was cozy. Thoroughly enjoyed this meal, no words could describe how satisfied my stomach was.. highly recommended.
Everything we ordered was very nice. The superb service and warm ambience makes it an intimate night out for friends and family.nnThe eggplant, lamb, beef and rice were all delicious.nnParking on the main street or plenty around the back.
Best Afghan restaurant in Melbourne 100 stars. A true taste of ancient Afghan cuisine with incredibly friendly staff. Every dish is rich, authentic, and full of flavour. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates real traditional food and warm hospitality.
We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, especially from Abi, who took the time to recommend both our entrées and mains. Every dish was absolutely delicious and disappeared in no time!nAbi recommended the prawn dumplings with dal, eggplant with sauce, the chicken biryani rice, and the mixed kebab skewers, and each one was outstanding. We somehow managed to find room for the baklava, and we're so glad we did—it was the perfect way to finish the meal.nTo top it all off, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef and her son, who were just as warm and hospitable as the rest of the team. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience. We can't wait to return!
Excellent food, seriously great Biryani and everything is simply good and yummy!
