An awesome little library. A real focal point in the community. Ross the librarian is really friendly, and most helpful. Kids are a real focus and priority at this library too. One of Ashhurst's best assets.

HI, Ashhurst Library and the staff are awesome. Friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is really like the living room of the village. Its like a family (family in the broader sense of the word-village family) get together place. Nothing nicer than to be recognised when you enter, and its obvious that the librarian/s there make an effort to make everybody feel at home. They know all their customers, and there are other activities on offer centering around the community. An example to all about how a community library should be run.
