About

Australia's amazing interactive 3D art gallery. Mind-blowing art installations and illusions from master artists you can see, touch and photograph.

Story

ArtVo is Australia’s first interactive art gallery that takes 3D art to the next level. Artwork you can see, touch and photograph for your own mind-blowing shots.
It’s not just an exhibition, not just a gallery, not just a fun day out. It’s all of these and more. The huge Harbour Town Melbourne location has been transformed by the awe-inspiring work of 12 master Korean artists with over 40 years’ experience between them.
The large scale artworks are painted directly on to walls and floors, many also with sculptural elements, that allow patrons to submerse themselves into the art and create some of the craziest illusions your smartphone has ever seen and captured.
ArtVo combines amazing art, photography, faux ‘travel’ and fun (whatever your age). Plus, you can learn all about optical illusions and the master skills behind 3D art.
Experience art in a whole new way – the ArtVo way!
Wheelchair accessible.

ArtVo Melbourne – Honest Review Solo VisitornnI visited ArtVo solo and overall had a fun and memorable experience. ArtVo is an interactive 3D art gallery where the artwork only really comes alive through photos, so it’s very different from a traditional museum. If you enjoy creative photography and optical illusions, this place is definitely worth a visit.nnEven as a solo traveller, I felt completely comfortable. The staff were friendly and very used to helping people who come alone. They happily offered to take photos and even suggested poses and angles, which made a big difference. That really removes the awkwardness people might worry about when visiting solo.nnThe artworks themselves are colourful, imaginative, and well laid out. Some rooms are more impressive than others, but overall the variety keeps it interesting. I spent about 1 to 1.5 hours inside, which felt like the right amount of time without rushing. If you’re someone who loves taking lots of photos, you could easily spend closer to two hours.nnOne thing to keep in mind is that ArtVo is very photo-focused. If you’re not interested in taking pictures or posing at all, you may not find it as engaging. It’s more of a fun attraction than a traditional art gallery with detailed explanations.nnThe Docklands location is convenient, especially if you combine it with a waterfront walk or nearby shopping afterwards. I’d recommend going earlier in the day or on a weekday to avoid crowds and get better photos.nnOverall, ArtVo is a fun, light-hearted experience, great for solo travellers, friends, or couples who enjoy interactive attractions and photography. Definitely worth checking out at least once.
It was a lot of fun. The 3D illusions were impressive. There are suggestions on how to take the photos on the floor and where to stand. But generally hold the camera in a slightly elevated position. Allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours here if you want to take photos at every station and especially if you come with friends. If you come alone you'll need a tripod. Selfies will not work.
This was absolutely fantastic! The whole family really got into it and the poses and facial expressions were flowing in no time.nHighly recommended. There are lots of exhibits so you can be selective.
Fantastic visit. I loved it. We had so much fun there taking loads of photos at so many stations of amazingly crafted designs of Art to include people into the photos. Fabulous variety and awesome experience.
A Creative and Joyful Experience at ArtVo MelbournennI recently visited ArtVo Melbourne with my friends, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences we’ve shared. From the moment we stepped in, we were surrounded by incredible 3D artwork that invited us to interact, pose, and have fun in the most creative ways. Every corner offered a new opportunity for laughter, imagination, and great photos; turning the visit into a collection of unforgettable memories.nnThe atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with staff who were friendly and helpful, ensuring everyone made the most of the experience. It’s a place where art comes to life and where visitors become part of the artwork itself; a concept that feels both playful and inspiring.nnArtVo is more than just a gallery; it’s a reminder that creativity thrives when we allow ourselves to have fun and see the world from new perspectives.nnSometimes, the best memories are painted with laughter and shared moments of creativity.
