ARTea is an art school and community space celebrating Art, Yoga, Baby Massage & Hypnotherapy, for all ages. We run a wide range of programs for adults and children, parties and events, mother groups, afterschool, homeschool & holiday programs.

We can organise the party of your dreams , whatever the budget we can sort it out for you!! From very simple to Mad Hatters high tea party, with your ideas, Artea can make it into a reality! We hand make all our decorations and we love a challenge so any theme is possible. Create a masterpiece (arts and crafts), invite your favourite superhero or a fairy, pet your favourite farm animal, reptile or pony ride, bop to your favourite song at the disco, laugh at a clown or be marvelled by a Magician, just a few ideas. Packages start from $290.

We can organise everything at our Port Melbourne studio (sun lounge and BBQ area for parents to socialise) or we can visit you (home, park, scouts hall, centre, christening, wedding, events). See party section for full details

Helen and team do an amazing job, able to put together a bespoke birthday party, that really makes a child's day. Thank you.
We were finally able to have my daughters 5th birthday party after the lockdowns and it was worth the wait! Helen was great with the kids, they had such a great time with some art and party games. The venue was great, lovely decorations and the tables for kids and parents were set up beautifully. Kids and parents all thought it was great, highly recommend Artea for a kids party!
My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I found Helen and her team very organised, professional and they are fantastic with kids! Helen took the time to explain how the party works, she took care of everything while I managed to take photos and even be in the photos. We did the clay party which included food, the art activity, a disco and pass the parcel. We were so impressed with the party that I enrol my daughter in art based activities at Artea during the school holidays. I definitely recommend Artea for kids parties and their art classes.
We had our daughter's 10th birthday here last month, and it was brilliant! Helen is just lovely, so easy to work with, and really great with the kids. She also adapted the activities to the interests of the slightly older age group of kids we had at the party much appreciated!. We've had nothing but rave reviews from all the kids who love the art pieces they made and gobbled up all of yummy food. Thank you so much, Helen! Caroline.
Beautiful, calm and fun vibes. Helen is a delight to deal with and has a real passion and heart to see kids thrive. ARTea are also super generous supporters of their local community. Thank you for being as great a company as you are!
Helen is such a warm and friendly personality and runs a fabulous art class. My daughter counts down the days until we next go- she feels challenged and inspired. We have also had a birthday party at Artea and it was the best thing ever. No set up or clean up for me- maximum fun for the kids. Highly recommend
I had my Hen’s party here recently and Helen and the team were absolutely fantastic! They were incredibly accomodating, lovely and made the day so special by creating a painting of me for my friends to paint! It was so much fun and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to support the event. The team are incredibly friendly and a pleasure to work with. The warehouse space is also incredibly lovely in South Melbourne. Thanks so much again for helping me create such a wonderful day!
Booked a sculpt and sip through class Bento and had so much fun. Our teachers were so encouraging and enthusiastic, they walked us through the process seemlessly. Bar has a well priced menu, I wouldn't recommend driving as you'd be at a loss not to experience it all
Helen hosted our child's third birthday party at Artea and it was a hit! So well coordinated and the theme looked a treat. All the kids were happy and it was just the right flow to keep them engaged, and amazingly the parents had more than 5 seconds to talk to each other! Everyone commented on what a great space it was. Thanks again Helen!
