$3500 + Delivery fee + Assembly and removal of rubbish Fee does NOT get you Pristine items without MULTIPLE SCRATCHES ON furniture - items will NOT be delivered at your preferred time unless you ring and complain that Subbie has made his own time to deliver... i.e. when you are out/unavailable. When the "assembler" is grumpy because they gave him the wrong time... and then focuses his attention on his phone call to a mate rather than the job at hand... then leaves part of furniture WRAPPED.. and the unwrapped cartons/plastic you PAID to have TAKEN AWAY end up IN/NEAR YOUR OWN BIN... you really have to wonder what this company is all about? Oh yeah it is a LOTTERY if you can talk to an owner/manager of the store and "some" of the junior staff have NO IDEA how to deal with customer complaints.
Ordered a furniture set in early January and was given a total lead time of 5 months for the entire order. Part of the set was delivered in March but they had forgotten a piece which it had to be rescheduled. May passes and I still have not received the furniture and I am constantly having to chase them for updates. They continue to push me back a month at a time all the while blaming their overseas supplier for the ridiculous delay. Forward to October 10 months later and finally the shipment is ready to be completed but of course lo and behold they forgot another piece of the furniture. After 10 months of waiting the best offer they could provide was removing the $75.00 delivery fee.
First class service from start to finish. Time line was exactly as promised. Delivery was at my convenience and the men who delivered it were very patient considering we were not at home when they first arrived. Love our furniture. Cannot fault a thing. Thank you.
I'm surely not happy with your after purchase service. First of all, whilst other stores are able to offer free cancellation within 3 days of purchase, your business is not compatible. Secondly, how can your store give me a different advise within 20 mins about your after purchase service? I was offered to put the refund back to my credit card, then was told that I can only receive store credits 20 mins later. You should listen to your phone records and then tell me the truth. At the end, I took the product I had concern with just so I don't have to deal with your store any more. Not recommend to anyone.
Wanted furniture I could leave out near my pool and in my uncovered court yard. After going to a few outdoor stores and being told nothing can meet my needs I was very disheartened until I went to this store. We found that the sales staff were very knowledgeable and eager to help us furnish our outdoor area. The price was higher than we originally wanted but after comparing the quality with other retailers, we felt that the products offered by Archipelago were best for our needs. My husband didn't want wood as we would need to maintain it, so the salesperson explained the UV Wicker option to us, which requires us to simply hose it down to maintain it with machine washable cushion covers, this was the option we went with. The items look great, I also found the entire process seamless from purchase to delivery. All packaging was taken away as part of my purchase and they even assembled my table, yes I paid assembly, but it was far easier than doing myself. Highly recommend this WA Family Owned store for anyone looking for quality outdoor furniture. Overall great experience
Great products and service from Archipelago - we used them to deck out our new house. Beyond a great purchasing experience, the execution was flawless. Delivery times was spot on and the guys assembled everything quickly and cleaned up our alfresco before they left. Very friendly and great experience from start to finish. I would shop here again.
Love the products I purchased, but the information provided by the sales person about the delivery and setup was not correct. It meant the delivery was significantly later than proposed, and required followup from me to make sure it happened. Then when the delivery arrived, the furniture was only partially setup, not as was communicated by the sales person.
Great service and knowledge from the lady who served us at Osborne Park, we were taken care of from the minute we walked into the store. All questions we had were answered and we absolutely love our new outdoor set! I have no issues paying for high quality and that is absolutely what you get from here. 5 stars all around.
Beautifully laid out store. My husband and I popped in for two cushions & ended up buying new outdoor furniture plus the cushions! So impressed by the choice and loved the bright vibrant colours. This is definitely my new favorite outdoor store & can't wait to return to buy another new swivel pool chair.
Disgraceful customer service. Went in to look for outdoor settings, was going to bring my partner back, Rosa sold me me some cushions and specifically said she would have one made for me with white piping to match, so I of course agreed thinking what a great service. 4 weeks passes, I went in and asked for an estimated time, told should be another week two at most, 3 weeks passes, went back in store thinking well it’s Christmas maybe they forgot to call... was told ohh it could be anytime in the next 12 months we can’t tell you a date... I said well I hope not I ordered in November of which I was told ohh I’m sure it will be here soon then. We’ll call you. So I waited... on the 7th of Feb - 3 months after ordering I was excited to get a phone call. Went in store to collect my remaining cushion... no white piping. It was identical to the ones they had in store... I said ohh that’s not my cushion I ordered it with white piping - no you didn’t!!! Ummm!!!! Yes I did, you have these in store why would I order something you can buy off the shelf, I’ve waited weeks for this. Well I can maybe get you one express, but it will be a couple of weeks!!!! I asked why I wasn’t given that option in the first place and the response was well you ordered a whole cushion not just a cover... and I said but it’s still wrong. She said oh well it’s not written on the order white piping. I said I’d like to speak to a manager or get details of a manager as this wasn’t good enough and I got back - well I’m the operations manager you can’t get higher than me.... Needless to say I got my money back and I will be ensuring everyone I know does not shop there. Thank god we didn’t buy an outdoor setting too. Appalling, they did not care at all. Get rid of your horrid operations manager and train your staff on ordering properly and customer service. Never again.
