I love the Aquadome all though there is a couple things that need work for example the female and men’s change rooms are awful and most of the time mouldy and dirty but the family change rooms at the end are amazing also the water slide I’m aware this probably won’t change but as a what people would call a petite woman when going down laying down or even just sitting the ridges really hurt and I’m often left with big red marks from them but apart from that the aquadome is quite a nice place to have a family day and relax with kids
Firstly the men toilets were filthy as there was toilet paper just stuffed inside in the toilet to the point that it was nearly clogged.nnThe staff was really disrespectful as the yelled at my autistic daughter for swimming into another row even though there are no signs saying she cant.nAlso there was rubbish and dirt at the bottom of the pool.nThere was little space to swim around in as there was swimming lanes with no swimmers in them??nThe spa was disgusting the was lots of dirt and random stuff floating around while the water had a green tint to it and i see NO reason why you have to be sixteen or older to sit in a spa? My 14 year old grandson was kicked out of it for not being sixteen even know there was a little girl sitting in there with her parent/guardian 20 minuets later.nnAfter all that chaos i wanted to try the big water slide near the entry but of course it had a sign that said SLIDE CLOSED like come on man.nUnless you want to have a terrible time and watch your kids get yelled at i would not recommend.
I have had bad experience after bad experience with the Aquadome and blue fit swimming held there. The worst I would have to say is my 6 year old son being treated poorly by his swim teacher to the extent that I could see she was treating him differently to the other children in the class due to a comment another staff member made apparently? at the end of the lesson I kindly asked the swim teacher if everything in the lesson was ok which she responded aggressive stating that she's not here for the drama and she had asked Levi is moved to another class, along with other comments, completely out of context to me as I had no idea of any drama as it's my child's 30 minute swim lesson, BEYOND inappropriate in every way. Ofcourse I reported this and apparently she was spoken to which I feel is not sufficient, if she is willing to treat a 6 year old poorly due to her own conflicts with other staff I do not believe she should be teaching children at all. Also the way she spoke to me was extremely rude and aggressive for absolutely no reason.nI had encounters with managers regarding this which I will say were all positive, they were all polite and also seemed shocked at her behaviour.nAside from this incident every week there is a rude staff memeber at the front desk, for example which I have MANY at the last lesson we arrived at the desk on the dot as we were running a little late and there were two staff members there one on the phone and one doing something on the computer, I was the only customer waiting for them to scan my child's class so he could attend his lesson and no one even looked up, after 4 minutes I timed it I said excuse me could you please scan this so we can go in as his lesson has started and the lady looked up and said I'll be with you in a minute.... a couple minutes later she scanned the card but was extremely rude and abrupt. Things like this are a weekly occourance with numerous staff, it feels like a prank at this point, not a good business front that is for sure.nAlso to add the life guards have a weird chip on there shoulder and literally march around picking and choosing who they tell off and why, I don't know what's going on with the staff at this place. Feel free to contact me if you would like to, don't respond telling me to contact you as I have numerous times and I feel adaquet steps have not be taken to deal with the issues flagged, mainly the teacher Gabbie bullying my son during a lesson due to her own personal problems.nI realise there are good staff members that work here but it is unfortunate they are sharing a work place with so many inadequate staff members.
Bought expensive goggles from a sports store and have used them many times with no issues. Now the Aquadome at Elizabeth has banned them from being used because they might break in water and I didn't purchase there cheap Chinese brand that does not cover the nose. Never paying for there service again.
The 24/7 gym is good but it gets quite busy between 4am and 5.30am and we have only have the disabled toilet between approximately 20 people which causes issues if someone is having a shower. Pool staff get there at 5am and start working on the pool. The toilets aren’t opened until sometime between 5.30am and 5.45am. The early gym birds are treated like an inconvenience and are put at the end of the queue. Surely the toilets can be opened when staff are walking past on the way in. Very very disappointing and although I have been a member for quite a number of years I am seriously thinking of cancelling my membership. Please treat us with respect and grant us the right to use the toilets as early as possible.
