Amanda at Applegum Inn reception is amazing, very helpful and professional and I would absolutely recommend this motel to anyone that requires a clean and comfortable place to stay in Toowoomba.nnAffordability is reasonable with easy access showers, power points beside your bed and guest laundry facilities provided. Much better than other motels in the area who charge way more per night but rooms need updating especially the fridge and bathroom.nnUnfortunately quite a few businesses don’t update their websites accordingly and I was disappointed the meals area is closed for guests and only breakfast served to your room is available at Applegum. Perhaps there is too much competition with many lovely cafes, Queens Park and variety of take away shops within walking distance for most people ~
Comfortable room except aircon was useless. Fan didnt work in bathroom and no cutlery to eat with. Cleaning ladies werent friendly. Reception lady was very nice. Breakfast was good.
Was ok, sheets were nice, but room was very bright lights outside very annoying, and person that cleaned the room was very basic had used glasses never got clean ones
Lovely, friendly staff, very clean rooms, off street parking, quiet.nDidn't get to use the swimming pool but I'm sure it is great.nOne of those beautiful little hide aways that need no advertising because the hospitality is fantastic and makes you want to go back.nFree WiFi.nAmanda in the front office is so lovely and very approachable.nI'm going back again next week for another stay.nBreakfast served to our room was amazing too.nSadly the restaurant isn't operating atm but when it does, there will be almost no reason to leave the grounds.
We were comfortable and really enjoyed our few days stay. Affordable and peaceful, would recommend
