Too polite when you but it , too rude when you return the product .nBad customer services.nThis was the guys. He really need to work in another place , let me talk alone , He doesn’t listen, and comes across as very aggressive, confrontational, and defensive. He may be better suited to a security-related role, but in a customer service position his approach is intimidating and does not align with the brand. It creates discomfort and can make customers feel uneasy rather than welcomed.
1/5 — Very disappointing experience and serious concerns about how my iPad was handlednnI took my iPad Air 13-inch M3 to this Apple Store on 10 August 2026 because lines had appeared across the bottom of the display.nnThe most important part is that I have Apple’s own Genius Bar Work Authorisation from the day I handed over the iPad.nnThe report clearly states:nnWarranty Status: “In Warranty W”nnCosmetic Condition: “No physical damage to device.”nnDiagnostics: “Passed.”nnProposed Resolution: “Send device to repair centre for service at no cost.”nnThis isn’t my recollection of what happened — these are statements recorded in Apple’s own document when they accepted my device.nnAfter the iPad had been out of my possession for approximately three days, I was then told there was physical damage and that I would have to pay approximately $1,135.nnThis raises a very serious question for me: How can the device be officially documented by Apple as having “no physical damage” when I handed it over, but physical damage is then found after it has been in Apple’s possession?nnI am not claiming to know exactly when or how the damage occurred. However, I do not believe it is reasonable to make me responsible for damage that Apple’s own intake documentation says was not present when they accepted the device.nnI spoke directly with the manager and showed/explained my concerns, but unfortunately I was offered no satisfactory resolution.nnI have also noticed this store currently has a rating of around 3.4 stars, and many customer reviews appear to have received no response from the store. Based on my experience, I find the lack of meaningful customer service particularly disappointing.nnI expected Apple to investigate the discrepancy between their own intake report and the later damage assessment rather than simply asking me to pay $1,135.nnI have kept the original Genius Bar Work Authorisation and other documentation and will now consider taking the matter further under Australian Consumer Law.
The workers here are so, so, so kind and helpful!!nnThey know their stuff, and they were all so nice with helping me with any questions I hadnnI was helped today by two store workers, one for my Genius Bar appointment and the other for enquiring about a new laptop. Both were friendly, and knowledgeable - top notch customer service
I visited the Apple Store over the weekend with a simple question regarding how Apple’s warranty process works. Upon entering the store, I was approached by a customer service representative named Valerie. Although she appeared busy, she offered to assist me, which I initially appreciated.nI explained that my iPhone had been overheating excessively and shutting down during work meetings, and I wanted to understand whether this issue might be covered under warranty. Rather than listening to my concerns, Valerie immediately pointed to my phone case as the cause of the problem. The case is an Apple-approved case, so I found this explanation unhelpful and dismissive.nAs the conversation continued, I felt that Valerie became increasingly defensive and appeared to blame me for the issue with my phone. She then criticised me for not having booked an appointment in advance and suggested that I was being rude, despite the fact that I had simply asked for guidance after she had offered to help.nIf appointments are required for technical support, that could have been explained politely from the outset. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed, blamed, and unwelcome. It was, without question, the poorest customer service experience I have ever had in a retail store.nAfter leaving the Apple Store, I visited several other stores the same day, where the customer service was outstanding. The difference in professionalism and willingness to help was remarkable, and I even found myself discussing how disappointing my Apple Store experience had been.nFor a company with Apple’s reputation for customer experience, this interaction was incredibly disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
Lined up for over an hour for a screen repair to be told to come back in a day to pick it up with no replacement device.nnNot happy.nnSilver lining was I ended up with a brand new device or this was going to be a 1 star as my first review. Nice recovery apple Robina :nnNow happy :
