The guy that owns this place is super nice and cooks amazing food, I'm coming back tomorrow. It's also cozy as fuuuuuuuuk.

Great little place, my partner and I dropped in twice during our stay in Melbourne and both times it was quiet, comfortable and had awesome food!

Great quality Japanese food in a very casual, tiny cafe setting. The chef is a legend and portions are generous. Aoba is a Glenferrie Road institution!

Local favourite. Cute little family styled Japanese restaurant. Great food and service. Busy at night times so need to be a little patient. But well worth it.

Soba us great, my partner and I have been eating here for years. Food is delicious, there are always new specials on the menu to try and service city s fast and very friendly. The owner, Shingo, the owner, is a little lovely guy and we are proud to be one of his many regulars.

GlenFerrie Rd is chockers with similar cuisine, this place stands above the rest.

Foods are right, but the dining area could be better.

Aoba is a tiny little Japanese cafe with lovely food. I ordered the salmon teriyaki, chicken karage, seaweed salad and gyoza all of which were nuce especially the salmon. The chef is very polite and doing an amazing job! The place is not very crowded, mostly people stop by for take away pickups.
